Foreign exchange outlets are available at the Perth International and Domestic Airports, in Perth City and Fremantle and at most banks.

Climate
Perth enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate. July is in mid-winter when the mean daily maximum temperature is 18°C and the mean overnight minimum is 8°C. July is the wettest time of the year in Perth with an average 150 mm of rain for the month. However this is the most pleasant season to undertake field work in the warmer, semi-arid regions of the northern Perth, Carnarvon and Canning Basins where it is the dry season. View the www.bom.gov.au website for more information on local climate.
